The current state of the nation requires all well meaning Nigerians to come to the rescue of the less privilege in the society, as many Nigerians are continuing to plunge into the basket of those who could not feed on $1 per day.
As part of efforts to pull people out of the poverty zone, a spiritual leader and great philanthropist with long-term track records in charity and arms giving, popular Lagos based prophet of God and founder INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Ayodele Babatunde Elijah has empowered thousands of Nigerians as he celebrated his birthday on Monday 14th February 2022.
The event which took place at the INRI church headquarters Oke-Afa Isolo Ejigbo Lagos State witnessed large turnout of well-wishers, friends, family and beneficiaries of the empowerment package.
As no fewer than 1000 GCE, WAEC, and JAMB/UTME forms were dolled out to less privilege in the society while hundreds of students were awarded with scholarships to different tertiary institutions of learning.
As widows and elders were given different relief materials, cash gifts to cater for their house rents, and several other vocational training materials.
Some beneficiaries were given all expenses paid pilgrim trip to Jerusalem 2022.
Primate Ayodele also gave out cars with which a popular gospel musician, Dare Melody and journalists who have done excellently well in their career rode on a salon car back to their various homes.
Tricycles were also handed over to some members as a grant to eradicate poverty in their lives.
The event which has in attendance Minister of Interior Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, represented by Hon. Dipo Okeyomi described Primate Ayodele empowerment as unprecedented despite not occupying any public office nor seeking elections, “Primate Ayodele is God sent to the less privilege and such character deserve special national honour in appreciation for his hands of fellowship he is extending to the less privilege in our society.” He said.
Traditional rulers, men of God, Honourable member from the Lagos State House of Assembly, Jude Idimogu, and other important personalities from all walks of life graced the occasion.
The audience was thrilled and entertained by juju maestro, King Sunny Ade, with serenading music at the event.
Meanwhile, the man of God also gave King Sunny Ade a specially designed musical microphone worth million of dollars in appreciation for his contributions to his personal life from time immemorial.
