
A firm, Eonsfleet Prosolutions Limited (EPL) has partnered Primero Transport Services Limited, operator of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Lagos, to deploy world-class strategy-led Artificial Intelligence (AI) to reduce travel time.
The Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of EPL, Tokunbo Arannilewa said in a statement on Tuesday by Mr Mutiu Yekeen, the Head, Corporate Communications of Primero, that the focus was to optimise mobility solutions.
According to Arannilewa, the focus of the solution is to deliver a transportation ecosystem enabled with artificial intelligence (AI) which will harness the power of data, analytics, and cloud to help reduce travel time and manage congestion.
He added that the system would also improve regulatory compliance, support preventive maintenance, enable dynamic policy-making, and deliver many other benefits.
Arannilewa said that the system was part of efforts to digitise and transform the transportation ecosystem in Nigeria and provide solutions to growing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the transport sector.
He said that it had become imperative to deploy world-class strategy-led artificial intelligence (AI) driven solutions and next-gen technology services to the Nigeria transport sector.
