The crisis rocking the Osun State Council of Oba may be far from declared to have end as indigenes of Ogbagba on Monday storm the Osun State Secretariat, Abere, Osun State to demand the suspension of the Oluwo of Iwo.
It was widely reported in the media that the Oluwo of Iwo Kingdom, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu 1 allegedly assault their monarch, Agbowu of Ogbagba, Oba Dhikirulahi Olabira on Friday during a peace meeting organised by the Osun State Council of Obas.
The protesters bore placards which read: “Oluwo destroys traditions: Suspend him”, “Justice must prevail”, “Oyetola save our souls”, among others.
